Conducting electronics experiments in addition to third-year level experiments
In this laboratory, selected experiments in the field of optics, waves, atomic physics and modern physics are presented. This includes the following experiments: - Frank Hertz. - Electron diffraction. - Measuring the ratio of the electron’s charge to its mass (e/m) using the Thomson method. - Atomic spectra. - Photoelectric effect. - Microwave. - Magnetic retardation. - X-rays (energy levels of copper; Kα and Kβ emissions). - The speed of sound in liquids and its relationship with temperature. - The speed of light. - Michelson interjected. - Measuring the ratio of the electron’s charge to the Boltzmann constant (e/k).
