Chemistry Program Learning Outcomes PLO
- Analyze and apply core chemical principles, terminology, system properties, thermodynamics, kinetics, and quantum mechanical foundations to explain structure, transformations, and reactivity.
- Elucidate the structure and properties of chemical compounds using structural and spectroscopic methods, and relate materials to their physicochemical and technological performance.
- Recall and apply major synthetic methods and chemical transformations in the design, execution, and optimization of laboratory and industrial processes.
- Evaluate and analyze scientific and ethical data using AI and modern data analysis techniques to support evidence based chemical decision making.
- Handle chemical products safely in laboratory and industrial settings, and assess the social, environmental, and ethical impact of chemical activities in line with professional conduct and sustainable development goals.
- Communicate chemical concepts, problems, and solutions effectively, both orally and in writing, to specialized and non-specialized audiences, and support learning in chemistry.
